What does your role entail?
I lead the sales team for The Woodhorn Group to promote and sell our wide range of contract services and consumer products. This includes our commercial waste management contracts, bulk orders for our certified topsoils and composts, our Earth Cycle consumer brand and also our milk vending. I’m involved in developing and launching new products and services as well as overseeing our marketing and stakeholder engagement.
How long have you worked here?
I’ve been with the Woodhorn Group since 2012 – so quite a while now!
What makes this such a special place to work?
The office is in quite a rural location but because I’m here there and everywhere I get to enjoy all our sites. I love being down on the farm with the cows but it’s just as fun spending some time with all the big machines at the composting sites because we’re making something truly organic that will go back into the ground.
When you're not working, what will we find you doing?
I really enjoy traveling and music. Whilst I particularly like Country music, I’m also a DJ and so my music collection encompasses everything. I’m big into my football too, having been a coach for the local youth team for as long as I can remember and I’m also a Southampton fan, so enjoy heading down to St Mary’s for a match when I can.
