Plaistow Hub – Soils, composts and plants for an inner city urban regeneration scheme

The Project

Plaistow Hub is a new community hub in East London. The local centre was developed next to Plaistow Underground Station, creating a new piazza and streetscape. Alongside two separate residential buildings the project includes a new library, neighbourhood centre, supermarket, gym and café.

The Brief

We were contacted by one of our valued construction clients to help deliver a comprehensive soft landscape at Plaistow Hub. The aim was to offer an attractive and lush streetscape with trees and plants, in raised beds, borders and roof terraces. The team were also keen to put in place an effective muckaway process as part of the construction phase.

The Timeline

We supported the project between September 2023 and January 2024.

The Materials

The Outcome

Plaistow Hub was completed in early 2024. Following the build phase the project was topped off with striking soft landscaping using our quality soil, trees and plants, creating a strong aesthetic in the new community hub.
