How did you get into the role? Tell us a little bit about your career history and what lead to you working at Woodhorn.
Before I joined Woodhorn, I had been working at a pig farm for 32 years. I felt I needed a change and a colleague told me about the role at Woodhorn. I had heard good things about Woodhorn so decided to apply.

What do you do on a day to day basis? Can you give us an insight into a typical day in your role?
My typical day starts with machinery checks. I could be screening, shredding, or helping out with the retail department, or any other tasks as set by my Manager.

The best bits and challenges. Be open and honest, what’s the best thing about your job, and what can be tough sometimes?
The variety of different jobs is definitely one of the best bits. I can’t think of anything bad!

Life outside of work – what are your interests and hobbies?
Socialising, dog walking and spending time with my family.
