PAS100 Compost - The Woodhorn Group
Woodhorn PAS100 Compost is manufactured at our Tangmere production site, located on the historic WWII Tangmere airfield just off the A27 near Chichester, West Sussex.
The Woodhorn Group operates three licensed waste management sites in West Sussex and Hampshire with a total licensed capacity of 114,000 tonnes.
We receive over 90,000 tons of local green waste each year at our sites in Tangmere, Runcton and Hayling Island, which is composted to create our high quality peat free PAS100 compost and soil conditioning products.
Woodhorn PAS100 Compost (≤ 15mm)
Our PAS100 Compost is screened to around 10mm and contains no added fertilisers or coir. This nutrient-dense and organic compost is based on composted plant material from household collections and local landscapers. It’s an ideal, all round product for your general gardening and horticultural needs and one of the main constituents of our BS3882 Certified Topsoils. It is fully compliant to PAS100 standard in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Woodhorn PAS100 Mulch (≤ 25mm)
Woodhorn PAS100 Mulch is screened to around 25mm to create a versatile mulch perfect for use as a slow release nutrient and weed suppressor across beds and borders. This nutrient-rich, organic and peat-free mulch is used extensively across farmland and vinyards and is fully compliant to PAS100 standard in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Woodhorn PAS100 Cow Compost (≤ 15mm)
Our PAS100 Cow Compost is a nutrient-dense organic soil conditioner based on composted cow manure from our own award-winning organic dairy herd. It is ideal for vigorous root, shoot, and bud growth in roses, vegetables, fruit and herbaceous borders. Our Cow Compost improves drainage and aeration in heavy clay soils and adds body to light sandy soils, helping to retain moisture and nutrients and bring back liveliness to your garden. It is fully compliant to PAS100 standard in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
