Woodhorn tractor rides at the Oving Scarecrow Day
As a Company we support many local events and initiatives throughout the year.
Oving Village's Scarecrow Day is a highlight on our annual calendar. The village is adorned with a vast array of scarecrows, themed and traditional, from which judges have the unenviable task of scoring. The Woodhorn Group sponsor a trophy as well as carry out tractor and trailer rides to take people around the village to see all the scarecrows.
We have recently 'built' a sports pitch on our farm near Chichester purely for charitable and/or community use.
This facility is being used for a new Saturday Football Club for young people in our local area. Entirely financed by The Woodhorn Group, the club is free and open to kids from reception to year 11.
Ability is unimportant and it is open to boys and girls. Coaching is provided by Championship side Brighton and Hove Albion FC.
Tractor Tyres used as planters

We like to help schools too, as they are a huge part of our community. Tractor tyres and Earth Cycle Products have been donated, and the planted tyres have become the talk of the parents at the school gate! Product has also been donated for schools projects in polytunnels, school plant sales and 'grow your own' initiatives.
